The Greenbrier

We jumped on a LivingSocial coupon offering a 50% discount on accommodations at The Greenbrier. Hiking, running, swimming, and a round of golf at the private Snead course. Thankfully, we discovered Lewisburg (named “Americas Coolest Small Town”), 9 miles down the road. We trekked to Lewisburg each night for dinner and had excellent meals at Stellas, Stardust, and Food and Friends. I also threw down a couple pints of Smithwicks at the Irish Bar while the chicks bopped around town. Oddly enough, the owners of the Irish Pub moved to Lewisburg from Alexandria, VA. We stopped at Douthat State Park on the way home and of course the Route 11 potato chip factory…sampling the various flavors on display.
